A Comeback Trend of Flat Automotive Paint

There are some people who say that the car paint scheme says more about the driver than the car itself. The most important part of choosing a paint scheme is choosing a theme that suits your personality and car, and then sticking to it.

Flat is Back

The strongest activity in the automotive market today is semi-gloss (suede) paintwork. The coolest thing about flat paint is that it usually looks really good in almost any color, and can also give any car a worldlier look while applying bright colors like blue, yellow and red. You can find bumper protector film from various online sources.

When doing a flat paint job you will need special supplies. For safety, it is recommended to use a respirator mask when sanding, spraying primer and paint. Sanding creates heavy toxic dust which if not properly protected can enter the respiratory system and cause extreme damage from time to time.

The materials needed to paint your car are double action slander, sandpaper, masking tape, primer, slander block, clear coat, paint of your choice and leveling agent.

Prepare the Paint

Every flat paint job begins with the preparation of the surface of the car. Pair your car with double action slander and 80 grit sandpaper. Then clean and use paper and masking tape to cover any part of your car that does not need to be painted.

Spraying strokes can be applied horizontally and overlapped. Start from the roof of the vehicle, the hood, and trunk and then move to the side of the car, spray from front to back. Allow each layer to dry for 30 minutes before applying it.
